SOURCING
seafood
Our fish and seafood come from a wide variety of sources, including wild fisheries in oceans around the world and from aquaculture farms. All of our suppliers are actively committed to responsible sourcing. We understand the importance of sourcing from healthy fisheries and aquaculture farms, as well as the immense challenges we all must overcome to source fish and seafood responsibly.
Therefore, we work closely with our suppliers to identify, as far as possible, the sources of our fish and seafood ingredients.
PROCESSING
We process our products with the utmost care following stringent internal product quality standards. We follow Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) principles in our operations and our facilities are Safe Quality Food (SQF) certified. Our processing sites utilize in-house microbiological labs operated by lab technicians trained in the verification of food safety and quality systems.
Distribution
Fulfilling the need to provide the freshest and best sea food products to grocery retailers and foodservice operators alike, Marina has our own distribution company to achieve ground and air distribution throughout Bahrain and Middle East.
Logistics
Our logistics team ensures seamless continuation of our cold chain, from our processing facilities to our distribution facilities, and directly to our customers. We continually assess the environmental and energy efficiency of our distribution supply chains.
